KNOW. GROW. GO!
These are the words that we use at Calvary Chapel of Waldorf to challenge ourselves everyday: Know the foundation of Christ’s teachings, grow in these teachings, and go and share the hope of Christ. The Word of God is relevant NOW, because the Bible answers questions and solves problems that we are all dealing with TODAY. Whether you are afraid, alone, or just looking for real answers, we believe Jesus Christ provides real hope and is the foundation upon which we should build our lives
Calvary Chapel of Waldorf exists to glorify God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and to grow a community of believers in the knowledge of Jesus Christ — equipping them to serve one another and to effectively take the Good News of God’s love, mercy and grace to Waldorf and beyond.
EXPLORE AND FIND YOUR PLACE
Our goal at Calvary Chapel Waldorf’s Children’s Ministry is grounded in that principle. From our Bible-centered curriculum to our Children’s Church Program, our Children’s Ministry is a safe, fun, and Christ-centered place for your children to grow in the Lord. Whether you’re a parent, a dedicated servant, or a visitor to our ministry, you’ll find Jesus in everything we do.
Nurturing, supportive, and Christ-centered social activities are the basis for our teen outreach program Learning together, sharing the Word of God, and reaching out to others—our teen ministry is a great place for young people to connect with each other and begin to commit their lives to Christ through giving, sharing, and doing.
Calvary Chapel Waldorf understands that men and women were created differently and sometimes require different ministry approaches. Our women’s’ ministry exists to meet the needs of women by connecting them together through home Bible studies, the annual Women’s Conference in the fall, and other events throughout the year. Watch this site and the Calvary Connector for these events.
Calvary Chapel Waldorf understands that men and women were created differently and sometimes require different ministry approaches. Our men’s ministry was created to meet those specific needs. Special study groups are offered during the spring and fall. Currently we are studying Men’s Fraternity-Authentic Manhood. We also offer occasional events for men such as Bagels and Bullets and Micro-Missions projects.
We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship. If you have a musical talent that you feel could lend itself to the CCW Worship Team, there are always opportunities to serve as a musician, vocalist or with the audio/visual team.
SERVANT'S HEART MINISTRY
Our Servant’s Heart Ministry works with members of our fellowship to help them discover the ministry that they are called to do. Sometimes that may require “test driving” a ministry—or even two or three—before finding the one that fits your personality, your skills, and your abilities. We encourage our members to try new ministries in order to find the perfect fit, but remember: there are no failures, just test drives!
FEED THE NEED
Calvary Chapel of Waldorf’s Feed the Need ministry is a way for our fellowship to coordinate serving others for those times in life when all it takes is a home cooked meal to fill a table and warm their hearts. To sign up, simply click any available links below and you will be taken to an online sign up sheet that includes phone numbers, driving directions, food allergies and more that makes it easy for friends and family to take meals to those in need.
